Welcome to the WSPA's public web site. We are a limited
membership gold prospecting organization. We maintain
our public website for contact information and a private
member's only forum site. The private, password protected
forum, is where we conduct all association business. That
includes, voting on new member applicants, claims
information, by-laws, finances, Outing lists, and all other
information pertaining to WSPA members.
The WSPA was founded in 2006 and Incorporated in 2007 as
an Arizona non-profit corporation. Our claims are located in
Arizona, Nevada, and northern and southern California. We
are always looking for new areas, patented and non
patented land for claiming, or existing claims for leasing or
purchasing. Most of our claims are open for both metal
detecting and dry washing. Some are designated as detecting
only.
Our memberships consists of a maximum of 100 non-claim
holding members and unlimited number of claim holding
members (members who offer their personal claims for use
by the WSPA and approved by the WSPA). We offer Family
memberships and seniors discounts.
Outings are held for our membership on our existing claims
approximately four or five times a year. Saturday night
pot-luck dinners are second to none and a culinary delight.
